The Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (WIFA) announced today that it had closed a $325,600 20-year DWSRF loan with Dragoon Water Company, Inc. The loan carries a 2.614% interest rate and features $77,620 in Principal Forgiveness.
Project Description
Dragoon Water Company will use WIFA funding to coat three tanks, replace piping at well sites, upgrade a booster station, and install radio read meters and related equipment. This is a critical project to replace and upgrade infrastructure in an existing community (fix-it-first) which will allow the system to maintain compliance.

WIFA is Arizona's administrator of the Clean water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds (CWSRF and DWSRF) and provides funding for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. The SRF programs function like infrastructure banks by providing low-interest loans to eligible recipients for drinking water and clean water infrastructure projects.
