WIFA Closes Two Loans Totaling, $1,524,988 with Springerville

PHOENIX - On July 31st, 2020, the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority and the Town of Springerville closed their Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loans. Both of the SRF loans have a 20-year repayment term, the CWSRF loan has a 1.653% interest rate, and the DWSRF loan has a 1.764% interest rate. The CWSRF loan is for $647,508, and the DWSRF loan is for $877,480. The combined $1.5 million in funding will help Springerville fund planned capital improvement projects for both the water and wastewater systems. The improvements include replacing lift station meters, inspecting the oxidation ditch, replacing sewer lines and water lines, rehabilitating wells and installing well meters, installing electronic controls at a booster station and creating a computer hydraulic model of the town’s water system.
